Crocheted Mermaid Tail Stocking
Welcome to my free crochet pattern for a Crocheted Mermaid Tail Christmas Stocking! Are you a mermaid lover? I am! Living close to the ocean I feel my mermaid vibe daily. I love seeing how popular mermaids are right now too. For Christmas 2016 I designed this stocking for myself and now I’m excited to share it as a free pattern.
Using 2 strands of yarns makes this pattern a bulky weight yet it hangs nicely and works up quickly. You can make this stocking in a day or over a weekend. I used 2 stands of Red Heart With Love in Minty and Metallic Teal but the color options are endless. The tail and fin are made separately and then slip stitched together. I suggest reading through all the instructions first just to have a complete understanding and then start hooking away. Please share with me what you make by tagging me on Instagram @pinkplumeriamaui.
